Carmel Mission Passiflora Coccinea -Coral Seas

Citrus Heights, CA(Zone 9b)

I know that the vine is one or the other. It is 80ft on the front and 50ft on the back. It is in back of the mission which is around the corner from Clint's Mission Inn. and a few blocks from Carmel River Beach in Carmel

Oh my how beautiful. I wish I could grow that here. It wouldn't make it through my winter unless I could bring it in. Are they hard to start? I do have caerula here and it is pretty vigorous and seems to root where ever the tip of the vine goes into the ground.

It definately is NOT the Coccinea, but it is one of the Tacsonia's, but very hard to tell which one. There are so many that look so alike, you can never quite tell. Coccinea will look almost exactly like Vitifolia but has a single lobbed leaf.
