This year is my first attempt at cannas. You may remember me butting into Hazydazy's thread just last week asking about them http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/514117/ I noticed yesterday that I have one up already...I am in shock! Do they always come up this fast? What is that 9 days... It is raining right now but if I get a chance I will get out there later and try to post a picture. I haven't even had a chance to mulch them yet because of the rain we have had but I am really excited and I can't wait until they all start coming up.

Cool I just noticed mine are up abuot 4 in. Have fun with them . Dig them up in the fall just after the frost does them in .rince them off let them dry and store them in a cool dry place.I put mine in vermuclite(sp) in a large paper bag.
you'll be surprized how manyyou'll have to plant next year.
