Leeann6,
That's a very nice looking plant you have there.
This photo dosen't appear to be the "Yellow Peanut" cultivar though,
because the cactus body is not Yellow. It appears to be a closely related plant called "Echinopsis chamaecereus" or "Echinopsis silvestrii cv. 'Fire Chief'" instead. (Which are also called "Peanut Cactus"s)
I'll be able to tell you which one it is likely to be if you can tell me how thick the stems are.
Are they 3/4 of an inch or 1/2 inch thick?

i dont have that cacti anymore,, think it either got to much water or it frooze

Do you remember how thick the stems were?
were they as thick as a "sharpie magic marker"?
or were they more like a fat cigar?

im trying to think..... hhhmmm
think it was the bigger one.... a fat cigar

OK, then this is most likely to be "Echinopsis silvestrii cv. 'Fire Chief'"
Would you like your photo moved to the right page?

wait,, ive been thinking(and NO dont say it hehehe) think it was skinny like a sharpie,, its been awhile over 2yrs since i had that one

Do you mean this pict by TuttiFrutti?

If the stems were that thin, then it's very likely to be "Echinopsis chamaecereus".
But it can't be Echinopsis 'Yellow Peanut' because the stems were not yellow.
Do you want it moved to the right entry page?

Kermit, TX(Zone 7b)

sure why not... lol

ok.
