Hi guys,
I don't know how else to find those of you who may live within driving distance of me. I'm in Jonesboro, Ark (Northeast Arkansas), about an hour from Memphis, TN, and about an hour from Kennett MO. I was hoping to find a few local traders who might help me thin my gardens from time to time and take home some of the divisions. My entire yard is a huge garden--no lawn. I have all kinds of plants and at various times, they need pruning and thinning. If you live close enough (within an hour or two from me), you could amass quite a variety of plants over time just by being here when I divide.
Is anyone interested? I currently have roses and shrubs to prune. I'll be dividing daylilies shortly. I have lots of Moonflower datura seedlings, as well as vinca major, vinca minor, orange ditch lilies, sedums, yellow flag iris, water celery, chameleon plant, oriental limelight artemisia, silver leafed artemisia, elephant ears, orange trumpet vine, passion flowers, apple mint, perilla, and much more.
These plants are for pick up only. I don't have the time or energy to pack and mail because I'm so busy tending my gardens. You wouldn't believe how much stuff I throw away each season. Does anyone live close enough to come out for a morning or a day and play in the dirt? It would be fun to make another local gardening friend.

Mitch, when I move to TX, I'll definitely share with ya. Had I had time and room in my van, I would have packed up some plants for you when I came to TX. But my van was completely full both coming and going. But what fun I had in TX.

Nancy- It would be wonderful for make local gardening friend. I'm only about 4 hours away from you and thats not a problem. But this job thing just keeps getting in the way of everything I want to do. I am finishing my contract with my current job on June 30. Hopefully then I will have a little time of my own.
Maybe we can get together after then. I would just love to come and play in the dirt. :)
