I have a tree in my backyard that i am having trouble identifying. Can anyone help me? I am in southern Florida (zone 10) if that helps. This tree bears a small yellow fruit in the late summer/early fall.

Welcome to DavesGarden!
I don't know enough to help you identify your trees, but try asking on the Trees forum or the Identification forum. I'm sure someone there can help.
Welcome Tammy!
I'm not that great with trees and certainly not from your zone bit Cheryl's right.
Its amazing how quickly most plants get identified on the Identification Forum.
Its fun both to post & find out what you've got and to check to see if you can
figure out what others have posted.
Hello and welcome to Dave's Garden.

hi, what you have is a jatropha multifida, also known as coral plant. it is in the euphorbia family. the fruit and sap is poisonous, but its a wonderful little tree. it will continue to lose bottom leaves as it gets taller. whereever a yellow seed falls, you can be sure to have babies. they are super easy to grow, nothing special needed, not a lot of water or food. just sunshine!
Hi welcome nice tree. have a great time.
