Very nice, Maggie! I would remove those rocks so you can see if the soil is dry or not and fertilize with some Bloombooster ferilizer as soon as possible. That should help to get you flowers this summer:-)
I ck the soil every AM & PM to see if it needs watering. Is Bloombooster good for other plants as well? If so, which plants really like BB or is it a good all over fertilizer for blooms?
Hi Maggie, it is a good overall fertilizer for all blooming plants because of its high middle number. It's ideal for all heavy feeders like Brugmansias, Epiphyllums, etc. I've used it several times this spring so far, and I've got lots of flowers and buds already. When using it, I would skip the plants which don't flower and the acid-loving plants which prefer acidic soil like Azaleas, Magnolias, Gardenias, etc. Acid-loving plants prefer fertilizer with a high first number like Miracid's 30-10-10.
