I don't know where the name came from. The only other carnosa I have had bloom is the motoskeii so I don't have anything to compare it too. But it seems a little darker pink than carnosa's I have seen other's posted. But then again. I have a pub. Bright One that is pretty dark and a cutting of the same plant blooming that is a lt. pink.
