:( Sad news about my kitty

I actually wrote this yesterday, but have been so sad that I couldn't post until today:

I am so sad tonight; somehow my kitty Cleo got outside. I wondered all day long where she was when I went out back this afternoon and found her dead. I'm not sure if it was the unbelievable heat we have had for the past three days or if she might have been killed by the dogs, . But I am so sad and missing her and just wanted to vent a little. You may remember I posted a picture of her when I got her last year. Raven, my daughter's kitty has been very clingy today and perhaps now I know why, they have a sense about these things.

I catered a 250 person wedding Saturday and came home almost unable to walk, dropped and slept so hard, woke up tired and didn't even notice that she wasn't around. I keep trying to remember was she in the house this morning and I just can't.

They become like one of your children and I feel like I didn't protect her.

Just wanted to post here because I know you pet lovers will understand where I'm coming from.
