I only have a picture of this unknown plum's flowers (and I know they all look alike!). The plums from this tree are small, 1-2" (Damson-sized) and ripen when yellow, but if left longer, will turn reddish. It's very hardy and a good selection for short growing seasons (it's the only one, along with Damson, that is reliable in Newfoundland). I'd say its a very old cultivar. Any plum growers familiar with my unknown plum?
