We were breeding for three foals this year but had a rather unfortunate event when a mare aborted twins. Yet we have been graced with two very rambunctious fillies this season. The first pics are of Damiana, the daughter of Donamia. She is a Trakehner, and thusly must be named after her mom. Damiana is nine weeks old today.
Our second filly is Danika, she was one week old yesterday. She's the daughter of the Elite candidate mare Rosy Future, a Hanoverian. The Hanoverian breed registry requires that the foal be named after the stallion so another D name. Danika's father is Donner Bube'.
They're both a ton of fun to watch, and they're both literally running circles around their mommies.
