CLOSED: WANTED Baptisma plants-yellow, white and indigo-
I don't have any babies and babies are what I think you'd want since they have a deep tap root, like Lupines, and transplant badly from what I've heard. The only seedling I had, years ago, I gave away.
Thank you for thinking of me anyway- maybe someone will be willing to share. All i'm looking for are the babies or the seed pods from this years flowers- but really would like to have all the colors.
Thanks!
Saundra
Hi,
I agree with Pirl, B. Australis and B. Leucantha roots go to China and almost impossible to transplant when adults, this is why I only offer B.Leucophaea for trade as their roots grow more laterally than deep.I have many of the adult Cream Long Bracted Indigo's if your interested.
Hi Moko,
Will your grow in zone 4/5? plmk- and thank you for emailing!
Saundra
I have a small Baptisia australis 'false blue indigo' that is still living in a pot. It's a very young one that I never got around to planting.
