bloom period?

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

What is the length of time that most Brugs stay blooming? I only have one and this is my first season, so I wanted to know what to expect. Mine just bloomed profusely, but I don't see anymore buds forming.

Most brugs will rest between flushes. Keep feeding it anyway.

Hi Aggiecorgi!!
I find some brugs always have some flowers blooming but it is not a spectacular sight for too few.

Then some go in flushes. A flush where you cannot see any stems, it is just sheets of blooms hanging down. These brugs rest between flushes. But if you are serving it optimal conditions, I find buds start to form in about 3 weeks.

Well you are in luck, Carol!! Where you live you can have it. I was told by the owner that he had gotten the cutting 3 years before I took this picture. It was from a lady from across the street that had brought her double white brug from Hawaii when she moved to California. It sure seems to love its new home. It is still there and still hugely magnificent.

What a beautiful site to see, Kell. That has to be one of the most amazing Brugs I have ever seen!
