Hi Judy,
I am a brug novice so I am probably wrong, lol, but it looks to me exactly like my Frosty Pink that just bloomed.
I have been trying to keep good photo records of my blooms & had made my daughter hold her hand next to it for size reference, so just ignore that part. LOL

I wonder if there is someone who can tell us the difference between the two.

I looked at all the Frosty Pink & Isabella flowers I could find and decided it was nearer the Isabella in size and outer edges http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/8068/ BUT I am a total novice.

I am sure somebody will peek & and know right off the bat. My Isabella has not bloomed yet so I am no help.
Good luck! :~)

Oh Donna!!!! It would be great to have them blooming side by side. In the pictures I thought Fosty Pink looked more delicate. I'm anxious for your Isabella to bloom so we could make a comparison. I think that would be the final test, if no one can say for sure!!!! Does it have any buds?

Frosty Pink...is it!!! I have both and Isabella is a bit more colorful...I can't take pictures right now it's pouring...

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3a)

Judy, you could dab some Isabella pollen on it, if it sets a pod it's not Isabella. Joelle

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Joelle - duh!!! I've never done that before but I might try it on the next blooms. This one has dropped.

did that one come from me? i'm not sure if i sent you isabella or not.
if not, i've got one i can send to you if you definatley "want" and isabella
jen

nothing against her, but shes just like so many of the other pinks. i'm down to just 2 and have 3 seedlings that i'm trialing down here. other than that the pinks are gone, unless i can come up with a hot pink, double, long trendil, serrated leaf. lol. if that happens i'm going to ebay her and retire ; )

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

MSJen well I certainly hope you get that fancy double Pink. But remember it needs to be trialed and if it happens I have my hand in the air.

I appreciate the offer of a Isabella, but I already have an offspring from Twyla's (hope43) Isabella and it should bloom for me this summer if I'm lucky.

Judy

PS You could name your Brug 'MS Fancy Pink'

Judy, whatever she is, she is absolutely gorgeous, great job!

They all are running together for me, but I think Adora has a little different outer shape than mine. Mine, curves in at the seams (the Brug pros are going to hate my description) and Adora doesn't in the above picture, plus she kinda waves/ruffles a little between seams. What would really be neat is to have one of all of them blooming at the same time to do an actual visual comparison.

Thanks BrugAddict for taking the time to post this picture... I'm getting a good education on pink Brugs

Judy here is a link to a thread when my first brug bloomed, which happened to be an Isabella. This was her first bloom, so it opened a little strangly. Maybe the only picture on the thread that will help is the second one, a profile shot. The foliage I see in your third picture looks a lot like mine. They are long, non serrated, deep green leaves (although I don't know what frosty's look like).
I'm going to search some more of my pictures to see if I have better pics! Susanne

Ok I'm thinking that after art posted that thread on Isabella, his looks alot like yours. So maybe she is Isabella after all :-)

Youre most certainly welcome Judy :-)

Judy this picture was taken a few years ago before there were so many lookalikes. Hope it helps in identifying yours.
Isabella is on the left (notice the different flower shape and how the light pink travels up the corolla tube).
Frosty Pink is on the right.(Notice the more rounded flower shape and how the white goes up the corolla tube.

Here's a side view. Frosty is the bigger flower.

I have what I thought was Frosty, but was told that it was not because the leaves were smooth on the edge and Frosty leaves are ruffly on the edge. Mine is now named Frosty NOT. Seems there are several with the same look.

Judy -- she's very pretty! One thing that no one has mentioned (maybe they did and I missed it...sorry if that's the case), is that the foliage is quite different on those two specific brugs. Isabella has a smaller, smooth leaf while Frosty has a larger, wavy type leaf.

This was taken on a rainy day and the flowers weren't open:

Well I vote that she is Frosty Pink!!!

In this picture, the leave at the top belongs to her. thanks Grechen!!

snowhermit - once I could identify Frosty by her leaf then I could relate more to the pictures and can now recognize the differences in the pictures you posted. All I can say is I have a lot to learn!!

Thanks everyone for being so patient.

Judy
