wow, that's so different than the chestnuts trees that we just had blooming. Your's almost look like rhodo flowers. I don't have a photo of what is all over town here but I'll look in the plant files in a bit and see if I can find it.
edited to say I couldn't find it in the plant files.but they are either pink, or white, and have a shape of a inverted cone, about 6-10" tall

Your chestnut looks the same as the ones growing here...the standard Horse Chestnut, Aesculus hippocastanum.
I just love those confetti-colored splotches on the petals! Ours had those blooms a month ago, and it's fun to enjoy it again with your lovely pic. :)
