A friend has generously offered me cuttings of his varigated Brug called "Super Nova" I have been looking and can't find anything recent on this one. Just wondering if anyone still grows it and is it a "keeper"?
Thanks all
Laurrie
Super Nova? Anyone still growing this one?
Hi Laurrie, Here is Super Nova in the PF.
Does your friends brug have variegated leaves?

Yes it does, I didn't have any with varigated leaves, so in swap for my morning glories he offered a cutting of Super Nova. Thanks for the link, I thought I did a search earlier for it in PF but somehow must have missed it!!

ps - I just looked at PF again, and those don't have the varigated leaves?????
Hi Laurrie,
I have been trying to acquire a Super Nova, but have been unsuccessful, So maybe next spring.....
Everything is growing like mad for me lately, so I will have some more to trade soon.

hmmmmmmm now isn't that weird!! These photos don't show varigated leaves at all, but he insists it has them. I have been browsing the site looking for old photos, and here is a link to one that WAS varigated? Did the name change or what? Or maybe I just read the thread wrong?

I think perhaps it could be Suav. Varigata?

ps - Connie, if I do get it - you would be the first on my list as a thank you for all you have gotten me started with this year since the flooding. THANK YOU!!!
I've got supernova also no variegated leaves either, I did hear the flower changes colors during it's blooming process, mine hasn't bloomed yet though. There is no variegated brug called supernova that i' m aware of.
I have super nova also, no variegated leaves.
Thanks everyone, that must settle it then, he must have something else that is white bloom with varigated leaves. Thanks for all the input - that sure does help.
Super Nova, I"m pretty sure is versicolor and the blooms are quite long. It originated at Native Habitats in Florida. It is not varigated.

I have one that I am growing. I just had to take off all the large leaves - they were terribly battered by wind, rain & I think an insect. Bought the neem too late - but it seems to be doing well again.
