which ones do you think will win....

Pickens, SC(Zone 7a)

I have several brugs-most are new this summer will be the first bloom. The ones planted in the ground I will mulch and give them my blessings to last out the winter. The potted ones, I will have to choose a few that I have room to overwinter. I will base this choice on how well they do this summer, bloom, etc...those things that make you serious brug people consider the desirability of which ones to keep. I am curious if anyone has any predictions as to which ones will be the best.

In Pots:

Tropical Sunset
Whiskers
Jean Pasko
Kyles Pink
Creamsickle
Isabella
Candida Dbl White

In the ground:
Butterfly
Dr. Seuss
Ollie
"pinkie" nr
another tropical sunset
Big Yella

Just be sure to take cuttings if you want them the next year, for sure. I'll never be without Butterfly, if I can help it. She is an exceptional bloomer and smells so good. I had a couple of Big Yella plants and to me they looked just like Dr. Suess. Tropical Sunset didn't bloom enough for me and Ollie didn't have enough color. If you have room for the potted ones, I'd keep them all, but that's just me. I can't stand to throw things away if I have room for them. LOL!

Gee Charlotta, I do not know which will do best, I think it may depend more on your sense of what is beautiful. The only one you may have trouble with that I can see in advance is CDW. To me they were mite factories so I finally tossed all of mine 3 years ago. I do not know if it was just mine or if others have had the same problem.

You are going to have such fun this sumer with that line up.

Thanks ..of course, the search continues for a really dark pink but it will be fun to watch these bloom :)

You and me both, the perfect pink is so elusive! But much lusted after. LOL. But when I find her, all this fun will be over, so I hope not to see her too soon!
