Susie and Donna-it like lots of food and water-kinda like me.

Donna-how are you doing???? I know how you feel-had back surgery 2 years ago and couldn't work in gh-I couldn't stand not digging in the dirt. Take it easy.

Oh Barb, that is just beautiful. I have it in a pot.....now I need to find room in the ground for it. LOL Hope mine grows up to look just like yours does. Very nice!!!

Gosh, that is a gorgeous ear, Barb. I love those stripes in the leaves.

This might be a stupid question.....how do these reproduce? Do they send out runners?

Foley, AL

no runners, they regenarate ?spelled wrong? of of the old bulb..... I think jeoquinii pushes off a new bulb... mine only does it in the spring.

ely, thanks for the info. I'm off to pot mine up in a huge pot! Can't keep it in the ground or it will die this winter.

wonderful plant. I have never seen that one before.

Ely, mine has made pups this year. I wonder if it's because they never go dormant.
Barb, I think I'm not feeding mine enough.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Those are cool! The first time I grew them I thought they were diseased or something because they kept 'cracking'. LOL
