Help with this butterfly ID

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

This butterfly is about an inch from wingtip to wingtip. Very dark brown, almost black with white wing tips. It's body is a bright orange. This is the best shot I could get today.
Thanks!

dunno it's name, but it's very pretty :-)

Churchill, Victoria, Australia(Zone 10a)

That is lovely, but it is not a butterfly. It is a moth of some sort, but I don't know which.

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9b)

White-Tipped Black moth, Melanchroia chephise. A day-flying moth whose larvae are hosted by Jacob's Coat (a.k.a. Snow On The Mountain). The cats are small but there are so many of them that they can strip bushes to the bare stems in just a few days.
