Another Hoya bloom - Kerrii

Mesa, AZ(Zone 9a)

My green Kerrii has bloomed! It's been interesting to try and figure out why a lot of my hoyas are blooming for the first time. It's difficult to pinpoint what it could be, Eleanors, Messenger, Spray n Grow, watering with hydrogen peroxide, the greenhouse environment, or hoyas finally being old enough to start blooming. It's probably a combination of everything.

Blessings,
Awanda

I think its best to just enjoy the blooms and not think about how they got there in the first place :).

Way to grow Awanda.

I added a photo to illustrate the stain potential of H. kerrii. What a sap!

How cool Awanda! My kerrii is getting ready.....now I know what to expect! DD got a butterfly "science project" for her birthday. The first Painted Lady crawled out of her crysalis today. I was hoping my hoya would bloom in time to feed the butterflies.....wouldn't they be happy bugs!!! (so naturally I was picking flowers after work tonight to feed the butterfly!)
