New Hoyas!

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Yesterday I added 6 new hoyas to my collection: H. gigas, gildingii, obtusifolia, plicata, sp. Thai 3 and...ta DAH...H. elliptica. I am thrilled!!! I also received a H. macrophylla which I wanted to grow with my clone from Australia...

The hoyas came from Botanova in Sweden - nice cuttings and well packaged! I can highly recommend them!

Isn't it great when you have a huge outdoor Greenhouse :).
Congrats on your newcomers.

lol!

I'd have thought you already had 'all of them'!!

Have fun!

Nan, I WISH!

Milan - too right. But imagine taking care of the feeding, de-bugging and weeding it ALL!

;>)

LOL I would prefer the feeding, de-bugging and weeding over my bushwacking through Hoyas in order to get to the door :)

I bet it was fun opening that package. Could you show us the leaves on the H. elliptica?

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Glad to...taking pics tomorrow.

By the way...H. elliptica is so ellusive...I can only assume that it is a difficult hoya to grow. Anyone know why? How? Where? Don't want to bugger this up!!!

Man...I still get a kick out of new plants!!!

I have a plicata just getting ready to bloom. I will post pic when it does. I never ever heard of most of those other ones. How exciting!
Have fun.

Congratulations Carol. Can't wait to see your new arrivals.
