CLOSED: Lots of Left over seeds!!

Laurens, SC(Zone 8a)

LOTS of left over seeds----If there are any particular seeds you are looking for, I just might have them!! Ask--they are for SASE (49¢ stamps mailed to me in a regular envelope with a note reminding me who you are at which group (@DG) and which seeds you would like--in fact if you like you could just mail this SASE and I will fill it up the best I can!! My address is in the Address Exchange!!) I'd rather give these away then have them go bad or throw them away (same difference to me). Would rather know someone is getting some joy out of them as I am!! hehehe

Moon Twp, PA(Zone 6a)

Bonnie,
So kind of you to share!!! I saw pics today of Buns' Brugs and they are just SOOOO cool! I know, I'd have to bring cuttings in to overwinter them. If you happen to have any of those seeds, or I could just send the bubble and let you choose things for me. I would love it! I can get you a bubble out in Monday's mail. LMK

Thanks in advance!! ~ Suzi :)

Lomita, CA(Zone 10a)

Can I send you a bubble for anything you can spare?

Barb

Moon Twp, PA(Zone 6a)

I just noticed you said in a reg envelope. Do you perhaps mean in a bubble env? Thanks for clarifying, Suzi :)

Laurens, SC(Zone 8a)

Depending on how many responses I get I have a good supply of re-usable Bubble Envelopes. Only need your postage, return address label and some idea of the kinds of things you might like. Also PLEASE tell me who you are @DG!! If I get SASE's with no note I never can figure out who they came from since I am in something like 5 garden clubs!! hehehe Yes, I have Datura seeds. Brug's I have very few seeds--already promised out. Later in the Summer--maybe August I will be rooting cuttings from my Brugs. I have several kinds if nothing happens to them. During the last rain storm (last week) a tree limb fell on one of them and it is a goner--no chance of recovery (Tequila Sunrise--it was only a small rooted cutting that I was hoping would grow and flower this year as I have never had this one before.)!

I do not promise anyone EXACTLY what you might like but you should get some very nice things. Some are from people who post photos here!! As anyone here should know, there are some REALLY cool things here!! I always ask for seeds or whatever for the ones I really want. Never hurts to ask--if you don't ask the chances of getting some of these things is nil! hehehe

Thanks for clarifying Bonnie! I almost sent it that way today but didn't want to make the mistake I made once here already, where thought SASBE meant Bus env, like it does in my 9-5 job...

Will be in tomorrow's mail to you! Thanks!!!!!! ~ Suzi :)

Hi Bonnie, I'll get postage off to you too and the rest you require also. Do you have anything in green or maybe black hollyhocks?I'm pretty new at this so I'm not sure what comes in seeds or plants. I like bleeding hearts, heucherra and sedum, lily of the valley. What kind of Datura do you have?Other than that you can just surprise me. I am in zone 4 but somethings I can overwinter inside. Yvonne

vonny--I DO (last I knew) have Black Hollyhocks and as for Datura I have several kinds so I will just surprise you unless there are specific colors you are looking for.

I have had trouble here--the doggone squirrels have dug up and EATTEN my Hollyhock Seeds!!! URGHHHHHH!! They have little holes all over the yard (and where they haven't made little holes I have numerous ant hills popping up!!)!!!! Not a happy camper!! hehehe So I will just have to start some Hollyhocks inside and then transplant!! (Once they are big enough to no longer attract the squirrels voracious appetites!! The darn things have destroyed at least 2 bird feeders since I moved here, have dug up and eatten my Hollyhock seeds and some of the Sunflowers (of course), knocked over planters and dug little holes in those as well! Cute little PESTS!! hehehe I try to keep them supplied with corn cobs so they will leave everything else alone, but can't always keep up with the buggers!! And my cat--I only let him out in the daytime (since as soon as I had all 3 cats here a stray dog (s) chased two away and killed one--Screech came back at almost dark the next day.) so he can chase them in daylight if I am home. When I am at work (Sat-Mon 5:30am-5:30pm) my DH won't get up and let him outside so it is nearly dark before he gets out. They reek havok on those days, believe me!! hehehe The neighbor lady LOVES Screech cause he chases the squirrels!! hehehe

If not, just send whatever you can. African Daisy, Caesalpina, Coleus, cosmos, dianthus, delphinium, gailardia, ganzania, ruellia and passion flower vine. Thank you so much for your generosity. Well, running down to the end of the seeds and most of the ones most desired are now gone, so now anyone sending SASE will be getting other things that people have not been asking for. Hope you will enjoy them anyway!! This is the END of this thread also. Thanks for participating and I hope you all have wonderful gardens with great results from the seeds you got from me!!

Happy Gardening!!
Bonnie
