banana question

I have some bananas that have pups, and seems like the pups have red striping in the leaves, is this normal? cause the adults don't, their solid green.

Yes, some like Orinoco and Pisang Ceylon have red center veins when young and Dwarf Cavendish, Goldfinger and a few others have mottled or striped leaves when young, but turn all green as they age.
