More yard photos.

Castlegar, BC(Zone 6b)

Well, after Todd's remarkable photography, my pictures are definitely insignificant in comparison. But I took some shots today, and by golly, I'm gonna post 'em. This first one is special, because I finally got a flower close-up in focus! Halleluyeh! I'll get the hang of this digital camera yet!

Lovely pond Donna and your Iris look wonderful! Ü

All these trees with faces make me think of Lord of the Rings for some reason or other!?! ;) The ents are making a comeback.....one yard at a time! :)

Oh, I adore the ents! Maybe that's why I like those tree faces so much. Love your iris Donna. --Ginny

Impressive iris display...that one looks like an older hybrid...more classic than the new more flamboyant types.

Digital close-up all comes down to the right camera. I have an advantage in having a close-up mode on my camera...allows me to get within 2 cm of a flower! And with 8 megapixels, a one cm. flower can take up the entire computer screen. Needless to say, I love my camera!

Castlegar, BC(Zone 6b)

Yes, you should. Now I have camera envy! 8 megapixels to my 3. OK, my dh is too cheap, that's all I have to say!

Hope you'll keep gifting us with your wonderful pictures, Todd. It's always a pleasure.

that's exactly what I want to do too, is purchase another digital, as the 5 doesn't seem enough always! Elaine I have trouble with the light factor..I have read my HP 435 handbook, til I'm blue in the face, and still can't figure it out?????????????

I hear you...and know exactly what you mean, Elaine...sigh

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

OK, Todd, you've got me drooling here, 8 megapixels, wow. I've got 3.2, and have been quite satisfied with my minolta dimage Zi, but Imma coveting yours...

Castlegar, BC(Zone 6b)

Gosh, Linda, your camera takes lovely pictures for a 3.2 MP. Mine is a 3.1, so obviously your Minolta is a far superior product. But it does give me hope that you can get photographs like your camera takes without going way up in the MP's and $$. I can only imagine what an 8 MP camera with all the whistles and bells like Todd's must be worth.

Someday...when I win the Lottery...sigh
