This pot contains a few cuttings from last fall. I have other passi cuttings the same age that have been blooming for over a month now. Does P. actina take longer to bloom or am I missing something in my care for them? Thank you, Joelle

Passiflora acttinia
Your actinia will usually need to be about 4 feet long (give or take a foot or so) before it will start blooming, although that is not alway's exact science, but Actinia is a Late Winter/early spring bloomer. Mine is already done blooming for the year. It got to be about 15 to 20 feet and probably had 500 or more blooms this year.

Joelle, hope you see some blooms soon but if it's a winter bloomer, you've got a while to wait. It looks green and healthy.
Thanks Mark, it has a ways to go for size then, I think I will try to trick it with long nights by putting it in the shed at night and leaving it for 12 hours in the dark. 500 blooms- oh my!
Ada thank you for the good wishes!! Joelle
