Will everyone please say hello to my sister, Cheryl. She is the one who got me started in gardening (thanks, Sis!) The other day, she told me she signed on as a member here and then I gifted a subscription to her. Hope you have fun here and don't get too addicted! ;-)
Here is a pic I took at her house the other day.
Please welcome my sister and great friend, Got2bgreen.
mgh, we are practically neighbors. Come over and borrow a cup of bone meal!
Mary
I heard it ain't easy being green...
Welcome to DG from the The Naked Lady Fairy Godmother!
Hi Cheryl - welcome to the best gardening site in cyber space - you'll really enjoy the wealth of knowledge and the readiness to share :)
Hi Cheryl! Welcome to Dave's Garden!!
Welcome, Cheryl!! Did you get to meet our wonderful John when he visited Mendy a couple of weeks ago? So what fans your gardening passions? I see you have a nice passi there. What about daylilies, iris, lilies, roses? Come on......tell us your addictions so we can devise which new ones we need to introduce you to. mwaaa haa haa haa.......
(uhhhhmmmmm....Mendy DID tell you how weird we all are right?)
hello from upstate new york. have a good time here.
Hi Cheryl and Welcome to Dave's!
Hi Cheryl!
Hi from the other side of Oregon. I used to live on your side near Lyons but I enjoy the sun more than the rain. You are surely in a gardeners paradise over there with a pretty long growing season and so much variety available. Welcome to DG!
Hello to all, thanks for the warm welcome.
Today I (and my husband) planted two delphiniums - 'Guinevere' and 'Black Knight'. I also found something called Mukdenia "Crimson Fan" a deciduous ground cover that I put under my giant cedar tree. I hope is works out.
In my garden, among other things, I have hostas, roses, lavender, columbine, clematis, lilacs, elephant ears, daylilies, and dahlias.
langbr - no I didn't get to meet John - he and Mendy stayed pretty busy up north from what I hear.
MaryE - I know what you mean about the sun - I grew up in Klamath Falls - sunny all the time. Here the rain is good for the garden but in the winter it's like living in a cave - all gray and drippy.
A Big Southern WELCOME to Dave's. I am sure you will love it.

Welcome Cheryl! Enjoy! Denise
Hi Cheri, Welcome. Sorry i missed you when i was at your sisters place. But we were so bussy between all those irisses.
Well maybe next time, :)
Bren sweetie, you make me blush ;-)
Sorry i'm not that much on DG's now but i so short at hands at the moment in our garden. But it will be better after the first weekend from July, the open weekends are done then. Hopefully i can breath again. ;-P
Welcome! I hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do.
~Carla
Carla, When I first saw your post I was so surprised by your name. Our other sister's name is Carla! I thought, "Now why would she have subscribed to DG, she has no interest in gardening?" LOL Then I looked at your user name. ;-)
Mendy
Welcome! I must warn you though, this is very habit forming! You will find yourself wanting plants and seeds you don't have and then "WHAM" you just can't get enough, even if you have no idea where you will put it! It is SO MUCH fun!
