Might anyone have cuttings of a fragrant brugie to swap for hardy perenials, herbs, shrubs and vines - some with roots and some just cuttings? We can share cuttings of a very pretty Satsuki azalea 'Conversation Piece' whose flowers are all different patterns of white and pink - It's low and spreading - very large, single flowers, hardy to 5 degrees F, although it's been colder than that since we bought it. Drainage from our hill and winter winder protection from pines might be protecting it.
There's a peony 'Festiva Maxima' that needs more sun than we can give it - can trade that, roots and all.
Am about to dig up a ton of Geranium macrorrhizum because it came mislabeled and I can't live with that shade of pink. If you like dark pink, this is a great weed-smothering, flowering plant with aromatic foliage that perfumes a large area in the sun. It's tolerant of a wide range of conditions from sun to shade and requires little water. It does not flop in the middle like Geranium 'Johnson's Blue' does, even though it grows in shade. The leaves are almost evergreen and velvety and very lovely and they make a nice contrast to vertical blade types of leaves like daylilies or iris.
Let me know what you are looking for, and perhaps we can swap.
