heh... we stopped by a grocery store on the way home today, to pick up some 'refreshments'... lol... now i have to ask ya, why is there always a flowers stand just as you walk in? heh, TF is drawn to them, like the proverbial bee. nowdays, she has great resolve, in fact yesterday she walked thru the Lowes parkinglot full of flowers and such without buyin a thing... (is she sick or somethin? ... but thats another topic) anyways... they had this section with a bunch of AV's... i kept lookin at em and she said i could have one... ONE??? ..... that was a cruel thing to say... heh, i wanted one of each!!! oh well... i picked 'one'... :)

now, can anyone tell me approximately what it might be? the lil' feller didn't come with a name... :(

Nice to see you here again SO1... so how's that basket AV of yuors doing these days? Did you ever get a baby off of it?

Now, look on the pot and see if it has a tag from the grower...if it has an Optimara tag you can go to their site and look it up by color. My monitor color is a bit off- but I see the flower as pale pink & white... is that how it looks in person?

boy, do i feel stupid... ;) not really, but i must admit to a bit of dumbness... :D

my other AV is doin just fine, tyvm, i'd post a pic, but he's about bloomed out. still purty in my eyes but not much for eye candy for the masses atm...

how ya been? i should come in here more often just to harrass ya!!

I've looked & looked...the closest I can come to it is Optimara Degas II....you can find a pic on the AVSA photos site. It doesn't show a red reverse on the leaf though??? Sooo perhaps the color is off for me or it could be a new release??? Sure is pretty :) I'd bet you could get a few new leaves for trade in the on going trading section???

With luck, MsC, we'll have him trading leaves by Thanksgiving, especially since he already knows he's got the opportunity to pick up a couple more tomorrow.
