I think its a bulb?

Looking for the name of this flower, I can only describe it......Long stock (like the length of a liliy's) with a big round pink ball at the top. If any of you out there own Ortho's All About Roses, this flower is on page 15, the top picture. Thanks for any help you can give!!!!! Lisa

Naien, thanks for that, you are right. I ended up answering my own question. Went to a recommeded website..Dutch Gardens and there it was, the first bulb listed. Actually, I'm going to order the Globemaster Allium for fall.
