New Orchid Cactus Forum

Hey, Everyone, for those who are interested in a new Orchid Cactus Forum, please put your comments here: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/515472/ Sometimes, they are posted here on the Tropicals Forum, and sometimes, they are posted over at the Cacti and Succulents Forum, and sometimes, they are posted over at the Photos Forum. It would be nice to have our own forum where we could post about these beauties exclusively. Orchid Cacti could include Christmas Cactus and Easter Cactus, Epiphyllums, Selenicereus, Hylocereus, Rhipsalis, and others.

Hi Don! I've got three or four buds on Saigon here, but no buds on any of the others tthat you sent me yet. I am watching your Epiphyllum oxypetalum like a hawk because I really want to see those big white dinner plate sized blooms. Inauguration is a very good grower with pretty leaves but no buds as of yet. I used Schultz Bloombuilder, 10-52-10, a couple of times in the early spring, and I think that might have helped me get these flowers:-)

I need to go out and buy some more land to put a greenhouse on and have more garden space, lol. Actually, I'm not kidding - I can see that happening within the next 10 years.

Me too, Karrie, but I'm going to have to leave California to be able to own land.

just found out my ric rac plant is an orchid cactus! so...yes! want to learn more...

I would love to see a forum for orchid cactus.
