It wasn't near this pretty last year. My wonderful DH (BigDaddy99) took this picture while I was sleeping. When I got up, with a bear hug and big grin, he "Thanked Me" for growinng the Brug for him. He is the reason I've begged for cuttings, traded for plants and tried to learn all I could about growing Brugs. He said it took his breath away it is so pretty and as you can see it's not totally open, yet.

Your angel trumpet is very pretty I love the color. I grow bougainvilla because my husband loves them.
Now he is noticing my angels trumpets and making more and more comments about them. My yard will be totally filled with them one day in the not to distant future, I love them also.

I have bougainvilla also for the very same reason. All mine have thorns which I depise but my DH doesn't ask for much and is really good to me.
If you take cuttings of your bougainville and root them please send me an email telling me how to do it.

Gosh if I was to be good to my DH I would get rid of all my brugs. And most of my other plants too. LOL.

So am I! I am amazed that my husband puts up with such an plant addict like I am. He is too good to be true. Too make him happy, I give him the job of cutting up and disposing of all my unwanted brugs. He loves that job. Gives him such satisfaction. I have even let him kill a few that were still wanted, just so I could see that smile on his face. Poor man, he dug 26 brug holes yesterday and was supposed to dig another 30 today but he hardly can move now. He is still insisting he will do ribs for dinner tonight. Poor guy. True love!!

Pretty pink. I have one bloom on Butterfly. It is so cool and cloudy here. This spring hasn't be normal so far and makes me wonder about the rest of the growing season. How are your other brugs doing, Judy? Bet things are growing nicely for you.
