Carol, in your picture I noticed the shade cloth and was wondering what % shade is it? I have 50% shade and was wondering if that will be enough for my area? Washington State. :)

Cindy - The shade cloth is 73% and there are many times I don't think it is enough. The gh is a "hoop house" with opaque plastic and I think the light is intensified by the curvature. Some plants actually show some signs of very high light - David Liddle grows his under 80% shade cloth.

Hummm very interesting my dear Waston:-). Hoyas and their survival skills are amazing.
