My first brugs. Don't know name..

Spring, TX(Zone 9b)

This is a beautiful soft blush. I am posting a picture of it about 5 weeks ago then a couple of it this last week. Phenominal growth! So now I need to know how to prune it back! In this picture, it was about 5 ft tall.

And then it grew....

It could be Adora
There are reasons for pruning now - an awkward branch, too heavy a top growth, starting some cuttings, etc. Decide the shape you want to establish. then cut just above a joint, where new growth will appear. Do you want to establish a tree, or keep a mounded style shrub?
(Decide before you cut - )

It is very pretty. Congrats!!

With all the 100's of brug cultivars today it's impossible to ID a unk. brug.

Just call it unknown pink and love it.
