Cobra Mistand

Knoxville, TN

I found this at Home Depot yesterday. It was marked down to 6 bucks so thought it was worth a try. It workes under pressure and puts out a fine mist, which we all know Hoyas love. It is called a Cobra Mistand.

We have those, and use them at the river when we go camping there. It sometimes gets well over 100 degrees in our campsite and very dry, so people have misters set up all around their shade places, and we use the cobra ones in the dogs pen to keep them cool. They work great. However everything can get pretty wet, so you wouldn't want to leave them on for a long time. Should work great to use periodically to add humidity and give them a good misting. If I had a greenhouse, I would use them there. I have a good "mist" setting on my hose wand to spray my plants on the outside, and my pump mister for the house ones.

Mel,
Your greenhouse is immaculate!! I'm gonna have to get me on of those mistahs myself.

You are too sweet Ric!
The mistah does a pretty good job for the price. If you add a timer, it is perfect for rooting a few flats of cuttings.

That is cool, Mel! But you shouldn't show us pictures of your plants because I see you have some variegated ones...lol.
