We are finally getting some wonderful weather after a crazy wet and wild spring. Supposed to be 25 today. YIPPEE!!!(Oops, sorry, I'll try to curb my enthusiasm!) Took quite a few pictures so will just post them for you to see. Nothing spectacular, but just part of our yard. This first one is one of our lovely visitors. And now, we have also seen two more babies go through this year.
Went crazy with the camera yesterday!!!
Okay, that's it for now!!! I am off to get plants today. Need to get hanging baskets done, and I need more COLOUR in my yard!!!!
Glenda
beautiful yard and flowers . they are cute but know they damage plants..
Lovely photos, Glenda. Your closeups made me envious for you quality of digital. We went to Kelowna yesterday and along the way, I couldn't believe the number of deer we saw. They can do some real damage to plants and gardens though. When I lived in Christina Lake, nearly everyone had there gardens in cages, basically. I hate the look of that, and while we lived there we were lucky and never had any damage. That's a shame what they did to that Hydrangea of yours. I would have been in tears.
Thanks Donna. My camera is a Kodak 4800 which we have had for about 4 years. It really does take good pictures. I bought some close-up lenses for it too, but I rarely use them. I have often thought I would like to take very close-up pictures to use for cards, but I get good enough ones just with the regular lens. I think the trick is the 10X zoom. I love that!!!
Yes, we have a cage in our yard as of yesterday. New autumn blaze maple tree planted, and has 4 stakes and garden netting around it. I'll be darned if it is going to eat that!!! LOL

Glenda you plants are looking wonderful!!! I'm sure looking forward to my pond plants showing some color like yours. Your Dwarf Cavendish Banana will be fine outside (mines's been outside for two weeks now).
Great pictures, Glenda. Luv your water iris. The white flower plant looks like a baby's breath.
:) Donna
