Would you water a succulent before mailing?

I repotted a small rooted succulent today. I am mailing it to a friend tomorrow, Should I water it before sending? It is going priority and should be there by Monday at the latest. Is there danger of rot in that amount of time?

I don't know the answer to your question, but, if you are mailing through the post office you might hold off till Tuesday due to the three day weekend.

I don't water these before sending. I haven't sent a lot of succulents but the ones I have, I just put into a baggie with breathing holes poked into it.
