Anyone know anything about her? We had a trade going and she got my end but I haven't heard from her since and no response to my email.

Same here, it's been over 2 weeks, now, I'm not getting a good feeling about her for sure. honestly we don't really know if there's been a sickness or accident or what ever. and it may be hard for her to post if something like that has happened.
I had a trade with her as well - it's been two weeks since I heard from her but I hadn't started worrying yet. I hope she's okay.
me too, you just can't tell these days if something's gone wrong, how are they going to post, she could have had a tremendous tragedy, but then again, How are we suppose to know!
I am supposed to send her a cup and saucer vine and a gloriosa rothschildia. That was back on May 10. All the sudden, nothing. No further communication.

well, rylaff, I honestly believe something bad has happened, hat e to think like that. but you don't just make a bunch of trades, and do as much posting as she was, and vanish, so something major happened toher, , I told her I would retract my feedback when I hear from her,

The sad part about this one is I send tons of seeds, that I really wanted to keep but I was trying to get Twyla, Hope43, some brug cuttings. Twyla's had more than her share of burdens the past 3 years.
I'm out both seeds and postage, plus I didn't suceed in making Twyla smile. RATS!!!

the last date i heard from her was May 4th. We also had a trade and were going to send out on the 12th or 13th. i didn't hear from her, so i haven't sent my trade, nor have i received anything.
My last email from her was 5/9, she asked about one of the packages of seeds I sent her.

It does seem strange that she just disappeared. She had set up a trade list, started a journal and was leaving feedback. Doesn't seem like something she would do if she didn't intend to stick around.
Maybe it is something as simple as a computer crash. I hope.

If her computer did crash the local library probably isn't big enough to have computers for public use.

It doesn't make a lot of sense for her to start a journal and a garden diary and abandon them here. She's also contributed to the PF. Since ya'll have her address, why not try to look her up and give her a call.
WEll, I took your advice and called long distance informatin and there is no englerth in greenwellsprings louisiana at all, I even gave them the address. and nothing. sooo, so much for that plant or plan LOL.
I too am just going to chalk this up to experience, she could have legit reasons, but some folks do this sort of thing all the time to make it look like their legit. Sorry, in the last 2 months i've been burned 3 times, maybe 4, I'm soon going to call it quits on trading. it's just not worth it.

Some of you remember 3 years ago in September when I suddenly "dissappeared" also . For a month I was missing and Amiee and Margarete hunted for me by telephone and by email to our town council members. I had a heart attack suddenly and a bypass and spent a month in the hospital near dead part of the time. I stay with my daughter temporarily but if someone were to check for me in the Shinnston Wv phone listings they would come up empty. Mabe something like this happened??? Shirley

It doesn't take much digging to find records of her family in Baton Rouge and her involvement in a number of other communities online, none of which have new posts from her in the last couple of weeks. Being a single mom with a five-year-old I expect her situation can be a bit fragile at times. Give her a bit of time and if she doesn't come back then you can either write it off or contact her other ways.

Can you look up who she traded with that she may have made friends with and maybe they'd know something? It almost sounds like something made for TV with a disappearing troubled person. So sad.
I did a trade with her .It took a couple of weeks to get mine, but i did.She did say that her computer had been down.So maybe it is again.I think just give her a little more time.Last i heard from her was on the 11.

I received a trade from her on the 13th. last correspondence was on the 10th: "running late on my trades..sorry. letting you know your seedlings are DEF going out tommorow"...the plants arrived very healthy and I consider her a good trader. Hopefully she is OK but just busy or computer troubles...don't give up on her : )

She joined a "knitting forum" on 5/11 but it lost the organizer so it folded until another comes along. Strange situation.

englerth didn't come up in anywho.com which isn't totally unheard of. But in mapquest, the address she gave wasn't correct either. Dr. versus St. or the other way around.
Oh well, I do hope nothing bad has happened to her.
I know, I did a search too 8foot, she might be living with her mother. in batonrouge, not sure. there was a englerth in baton rouge I think. Single mom's have it tough sometimes.
She could be living with someone and the address she gave could be so new it isn't included in the lastest release of the software. Because she told me she got my seeds.
