Parodia crassigibba
Here's the purple flowered version.
(Parodia crassigibba)
Again, gorgeous!!!! How many of yours are in bloom right now? Annie
I have about 10-15 different cacti blooming at about now. I'll say about half of my collection were blooming on and off this past month.
I just love watching them bloom with anticipation, another is getting ready here, yippie, Annie
I know what you mean, even if I've seen them bloom already.
LOL, I know what you mean! One opened today, and I didn't notice till it closed early evening, ratz....
Annie
Beautiful - isn't the anticipation the most exciting part!
Yes, I love the anticipation. I always say "I can't wait to see them bloom". In the late winter, we would examine our bare cacti to see if any buds have formed yet.
I guess you'll have to keep a closer look, Annie. Some of these cacti only bloom for one day or even less. Better luck next time.
Well, it openned again today, red, large and beautiful, need to download my camera, will post it, yes the anticipation is pretty exciting but to walk out and see those blooms, WOW, Annie
Cool. Can't wait to see it.
I've been putting some pics on, not the C&S yet, but will asap!
LOL, Annie
Great! Let me know when and where.
