Bog Pond Question

My friend is getting rid of her bog pond due to the algae problem..now the question is is her plants worth saving?..Shes asked me if I want them and Im not familiar with anything having to do with ponds....judy

Can you get rid of the algae?..wont it contaminate everything else you put with them?..this is the reason shes getting rid of them...Im looking to see if you can do something to get rid of the algae...Judy

pea soup or string

Plant them in a container bog garden. No standing water, only real wet soil.
You will have no algae.
Get them or trade with me . LOL

LOLOL, Im waiting for her to bring them to work so I can see how bad the algae is..somebody told me to get some tadpoles...I think this is the strangest way I have gotten into a new way of gardening..give me the plants and I become a new kind of gardener..lolol....no room in my yard for bog ponds but will maybe find a barrel and make a small pond....who knows....Judy
