I just got back from the garden center. My 3 year old daughter plucked some leaves off of some Hoyas and threw them on the floor at the garden center. Of course I told her not to do that anymore, but I figured "since they're already there, no sense wasting them!" LOL. So I picked them up and brought them home. Now, my question is: is it even possible to root leaves from Hoyas? I'm pretty sure that one is H. carnosa and the other I'm not sure where she yanked it off of - there were about a dozen different types all hanging close together. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

question about propagating Hoyas
Well...if you have the time...it would be a fun experiment. Sometimes leaves will root, and sometimes they will throw out a vine...sometimes it takes years. Might be a good experiment for the daughter...if they die she can feel guilty!!! LOL

ROTFL! Year huh? Well I guess I'll toss them into a pot and forget about them for a few years and see what happens LOL
