Hylocereus' buds

I was so sursprised of Hylocereus (Queen of the Night) start get buds and it been grow on back of lathe house for yrs. It grew over 15 feet. That has 2 on it.

When it start get flower and take the paint brush and brush the part of the pollen (male) then brush on female pollen that will get red dragon seed.

I will take pic every 2 or 3 days to see growing.

I'd have to agree with Ursula....I think that's new growth (a leaf) rather than a bud. I've been fooled before too. :-)

As it not new leaf... I know and watch this is new growing of buds. This is Hylocereus. It grew every year as I watch it day by day.

Sorry, Rusty. I think you are mistaken. It is not a flower bud! I wish it was, but it looks like new growth. The buds are rounder and fatter.
