Mixed Oleander Seed available for trade

Modesto, CA(Zone 8b)

Is anyone interested in Nerium oleander seed? The parent plants are full size and planted in a row. The flower colors are pink, yellow, red, and peach ....so the colors you get will be a surprise! Seed was taken from the plants about 1 month ago, fresh!

I am looking for these seeds in particular ......but am open to other offers... :~D

Phlox panniculata (Garden Phlox)
Salvias
Hibiscus syracus (Rose of Sharon) ('Diana' & 'Blue Bird' and any doubles)
Hibiscus (other types)
Streptocarpus
Fern spores (thought that would be fun to try!)
Cacti

Thanks for checking in! Karen

Hi Karen,

I will trade with you, I have salvias and also other stuff to trade. Have you grown Nerium from seed, is it easy? I need easy seeds I'm not familiar with, can you assist with starting them?

Hi Joseph!

After a little poking around I found a Thompson & Morgan guide for germination of many things! For Nerium it said, peaty soil, lay seed on top of soil, keep in a light area, germinates in 30-90 days. I haven't tried it myself, but may do so just for kicks! I supplied the link to that germination chart....lots of good info for us gardner-types!

I have lots of the Nerium seed. How many would you like and what else is on your current "hunting" list Joseph? You can "Davemail" me if you like and we'll sort out what will go in the packages!

Karen
