Dimmer, that's quite the collection! Could you please list the varieties you have available (leaf or plantlet)? If you don't know the "real" name, just give them a descriptive tag and tell us something about the leaves, blooms, and habit (size/trailing).

Also, please indicate which AV's have caught your eye on others' posts. Thanks!

I have no idea what kind of plants I have andI have no idea how to or what I wood need to do for cuttings. SOOOOOO
maybe I should not be in this form but if you see some thing I can try and send some. I think I need some Help.

There's great propagation information on the culture page at www.robsviolet.com, but it looks like you've already had some luck propagating from leaves. I didn't mean you should figure out exactly which plants you have & their official names, but it would be helpful if you posted a list of the ones that you think are big enough to donate leaves for trading, and just describe the plant according to blossom (color, single, double, big, small), leaf (especially if variagated or unusual), and growing habit (standard, semi-miniature, miniature, trailing). Those big group pictures are fun, but it's hard to tell much about any of your individual plants from them, or to identify which one somebody is talking about if they're interested in trading.

Also, as I said, it's useful to note whose African violets may have caught your eye (and which ones), so you can try to set up a trade if you want.

We're glad to have you in the forum, and we want to hear more about your violets! :-)

Dimmer,
Your plants are fine like CritterO said. We love Av's no matter wether they are named varieties or not. We are glad you found us and I'm sure from the looks of your table theres something I'd probable want..lol

If you can try postig pics of each plant you have and tell the bloom color if you know it. Or maybe label them like I did my no namers with a number...it helps me tell them all apart when they aren't in bloom.

Glad your here!

Numbers are probably a better way of identifying the NOIDS, but I like to make up names... after seeing Anna's "spring joy" and "lavender mayhem," I think my names might start getting more creative than "pink girl" & "purple star!" I know that's a habit that could cause some confusion if people take those for official cultivar names, so maybe I'll start using a number as well as my made-up name.

Like MsC said, individual pics and any kind of description would be good. Otherwise, you'll have me squinting and asking for a leaf from the "third plant from the left in the second row," which could get confusing for both of us!

And don't forget to post and tell us what you're interested in trading *for* also.... that's where the fun is, reading a post and saying, oooh, I have that! now, what do they have that I'd like to swap for!

I thinkt he top one is silver skies or something like that.
The second one looks similiar to strawberry fields but I think it may be painted warrior.
I would be interested in stolons from both of those if you would like to hook up a trade!
I have tons of AV plantlets right now.
I also have tiger stripe episcia babies available

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

I don't think Silver Skies that grows real compact miniature. There are many red ones. But their all beautiful. Kim do you still have them. You have some beautiful plants ! Thanks for sharing them.
I will have Epscia plants, Chirita and Stretocarpus plants on my trade /
share list also. Not a lot but enough to get your taste buds wet !
