Butterfly x Rosamond

Question: showing my novice here.

Butterfly = Rothkirch x Ocre
Rosamond = Rothkirch x Ocre

would Butterfly x Rosamond be a good cross?

Love that color, Linda. I'm growing a Butterfly X PB for someone. PB and Rosamond are full sisters. Sounds like it would be a good match. Mine isn't big enough to bloom yet...

Bloom in picture is Butterfly, she has just been pollinated with Rosamond. Both being crosses from Rothkirch x Ocre, I guess they're siblings. I guess I was wondering if this was good hybridizing practice. Just so happenes they were blooming at the same time.

Oh how wonderful. What a pretty pink it is, and I think the cross would be worth a try. I would be willing to grow out some of the seed if you needed some help....

Thanks all, taking a close up like that you can't see the slug damage on the edge. I was pleased with the color. Dee, if it takes I'll do a follow-up on this thread.

Sounds good to me Linda, but crossing all pinks sounds good to me. LOL. Your picture is a vision in pink. You know I love it.

Thanks Linda I'll make sure I keep up with it. I have my fingers and toes crossed that it takes and we have lots of seed.
