The guys like this . I think it is maybe like Black and Blue but the flowers are even bigger. I got this at Carmel Valley Nursery in Carmel it is called Tequila

This is a new Salvia
Monterey, Is it S. gesnerifolia "Tequila"? It has purple bracts like yours.
It is Salvia gesneraeflora mexican scarlet sage, I found the original pot.
You drive all the way to Carmel for your plants?
I get different ones there. Most nurserys get their plants from different wholesellers. So some varieties are only available there.green earth nursery is a good one as well as www.montereybaynsy.com
