Hmmmmm....I'm wondering where my post went??? LOL I don't see anything! Here is a pic, we will see if this works!
Variegated Tropical Hibiscus
its probably snow queen
red blooms
not sure if it will take full sun where you live but it does up here
Thanks Karyn! I do love the foliage, just want to give it what it needs.
Very pretty variegated foliage.
I have one of those too Brinda. They sell it as a small standard at Lowes. I love it. It does great inside too!
I just got it potted up this weekend Kell. I'm excited to see what the blooms look like. I hope the foliage does well in full sun.
Mind has been outside in full full for about 3 weeks now doing good. Of course we haven't had real hot weather yet either.
I have one that looks like that. It just said hibiscus when I bought it. I've had it several years now and it is really beautiful this year and in full sun in north Florida. It has red blooms, not huge, smaller than the othe tropical hibiscus, but, the edges of the bloom are fringed or scalloped. It is a pretty little bloom probably about four inches or so. I think the more sun it gets the more variegated the leaves become. Mine seems to have a lot more white on it this year and it's in a little sunnier location than last year.
Brinda,
It could also be a 'Red Hot' Hibiscus http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/72693/
Oh Donna, thanks for the link. That is really pretty. It's now in it's own pot and in full sun. Wish me luck!
Edited cuz.........I wish I could spell & type at the same time
