I've never seen this plant for sale but its on my "must have" list..
Pulsatilla Papageno
They're getting to be more common and more available. I just bought three of them, don't know which colors, and I can't wait for them to bloom. I'll probably have to wait until next year, though, because they're still tiny. I think I remember Todd mentioning them in another thread in this forum.
I am suppose to have one somewhere in my garden..grown from seed two years ago..now I have to go look for it....obviously it is not open yet or I would have noticed it. Lovely raggedy blossoms.
I saw one recently labelled as Papgeno but it was very small and not in flower so I put it back as I didn't want another vulgaris! Please post some pictures of yours when they bloom.
any kin to this guy?

Not that I know of!
odd though! lol
Papa Geno's does sell the Pulsatilla papageno, though, and the Website says it comes in white, cream, pink, red, blue, and violet. I wonder what colors my three new plants are. I wish I could have two or three of each.
