Here is a picture of the whole plant. It is a grafted plant.

Hey Clare_CA

Are you gonna let it grow into a tree?

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Of course! But it has to stay in a container since there is no where to plant it here on this property that we rent.

Now Clare_CA:

Prudence dictates that you shift gears -- and your life -- and find a plot of land. I would suggest -- Go West -- but you're already west. It is a predicament.

Baton Rouge, LA(Zone 9a)

The next time I visit my father in Westlake Village, I am going to have to look you up and see your plummies in person:)

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Brad, I'm in training for a second career just so I can own a plot of land someday:-) But I'll be going east to Colorado in a few years, and then I can still can't plant them in the ground! LOL!

CaCajun, I would love a visit from you. Westlake Village is about 20-25 minutes from where I live.

Berkeley, CA(Zone 10a)

Clare
Wow those are doozies !
How do they smell?????????
A

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks, A. They smell lovely. The flowers have a peachy Hawaiian fragrance.

Clare_CA

They ARE beautiful. I am jealous. But are they peachy (as in peachy keen) or peachy (as in fruit) or peachy Hawaiian (as in - I dunno) ?

Just kidding. You are a masterful Plumeria Goddess.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

LOL, Brad. You are much too kind:-) Are you in NJ? You must be missing your lovely TW.

Longboat Key, FL

Yes Clare. But whenever I get nostalgia creeping over me, i still can refer to the photos. Here I can watch the hummers, and the yellow finches, and wait for the Nikko Blue hydrangeas to fill out their nascent buds, and the hemerocallis, and the Montauk daisies etc., etc. Never get stuck into looking, only, backwards.

And golf beckons.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Ah, yes, Grasshopper. Happy Golfing! Isn't it a little late for golf? LOL!

Clare~

Tonight it is. But there is always tomorrow -- if the darned rain lets up. I do have to watch my game and practice -- or my DDW will continue to make it a habit of besting me.

Hi Michael! Thanks! I hope you get blooms on your SCP soon. It's a keeper for sure! Make sure you post pictures when she does. Somehow Arnold doesn't look as mean with a plumeria flower in his glasses:-)

Leander, TX(Zone 8b)

Oh my this is gorgeous. I wish that I could smell them!!!
