I have been doing some deductive reasoning, and came to a conclusion, but I need to know if it's the right conclusion. I repotted several plants with Miracle Grow potting mix, that says it has plant food in the mix. It says it will feed plants for up three months (I think it was three months). I also have some osmocote, and I'm thinking that I should only use it on the plants that were not repotted in the MG with food in the mix....right??
Fertilizer Question
Yup! You can kill them with kindness too. Give a dose to the non MG plants and then do them all come September.
I have used that Miracle Grow mix too. Some of my plants don't seem to like it, so I mix it with equal parts African violet mix and Cactus Mix (both plain...no fertilizer added) and my plants seem to be happier. Maybe mine are picky!
Karen :~D
So far, they don't seem to object to the potting mix. How long would it take to know if they're not happy?
