I took this pic last night

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I thought it was quietly good looking with its muted color mix. Another 2 year old seedling. I usually go for the gaudy flowers. I may change my name to GaudGal!! LOL

Kell, when you say 2 year old seedling, do you mean a 2nd growing season seedling or is this one actually two years old and maybe on it's 3rd growing season. I bet that didn't make sense...

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

Pretty pretty

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

This from the woman who likes pepto bismal pink?! I think she is lovely with her swirls.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

OMG that is REALLY pretty, kell.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Kell that is beautiful, I just got through planting most of my Brugs outside, does it matter how close they are? now I am totaly worn out.

Kell, that is a most interesting flower. I don't think it is gaudy at all. I think it is beautiful and interesting!

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Very nice pastel color!

Knoxville, TN

The FORCE must be with you, Kell. Yet another amazing flower!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks all. Yes Clare, I know. LOL. I meant i usually go for the gaudy ones but this one is understated.

The real question is MEL, was the force with you??? LOL

Sherry, I mean this is the seedling's 2nd year on this planet.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Kell, that's what I thought you meant, wow, seedlings already blooming, congrats!!! My singleton 2004 seedling should bloom soon, I cannot wait!!

Another real beauty Kell. Is that a freshly opened bloom? I love the colors...

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Kell, is that one of your crosses? Love the mixed color, did it bloom last year?

Are you renting farm land this year?

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Oh, oops! LOL!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Yes, it is mine. First day open, it is now different. Darker. I hope to get a tree full of blooms this summer so I have different colors on it at the same time. I love that look.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Quite amazing coloration. Parents? I don't think she is gaudy at all...perhaps Gaudi-ish!

Still no rain. Off for my daily watering of the brugs on the road...carrying 12 2gal bottles of water out to them. ackkkkkkk

Carol

Ozark, AL(Zone 8b)

Thats only the second flower I've seen with the muted two-tone blend, the other being "Nancy's Angels" which has a very different shape from this, and has pink on orange, rather than orange on pink as this one appears to have ; I love it! Very different from others! If you ever release it, I for one would Have To have it! I'd love a yard full of brugs, where at a glance any of us would know which was which just by the flower color and shape. Thats pretty hard to do these days, with soooo many look alikes :(

Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Pretty ... and no pollen she is necked!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

I like it. :)

Mirpur (A.K), Pakistan(Zone 9b)

Beautiful flower and nice shot.

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Ok Kell, show us some of those white ugly seedlings like the rest of us grow. I know you are hiding them. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Barb. I really haven't had too many white ones. Well, I did have a bunch last year in the brug garden. LOL. They were growing the middle and one day I got a glimpse of white so I waded in and there was a white brug fest going on!!

Now, that looks like some of my crosses. Of course they look great in front of that lovely blooming hot-pink plant. What is it? Bougainvilleas?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Yes, a 30 year old wall of purple. I just love this so much!! And so far the neighbors have not complained of it hanging all over their sides. No flowers yet this year, but lots around here are in bright color. I need to get way back there and feed it. Not so easy.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

That's a beautiful seedling, Kell. I really like the color of her.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

It's beautiful, kell! Very elegant and shimmery looking.
:) Donna

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Very pretty Kell. When you get a chance, show us a picture of how it looked when it darkened up.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful, Kell. I love the tendrils on her
