Well, I took Lucy to the office, and she seems to be pretty happy. Yesterday when I came in to the office, I noticed that her cage door was open, and didn;t give it a second thought as I closed it, then I went and sat down at my desk and was just working away when the caretaker from across the street came in to deliver some water and said, your bird's cage door is open and she is sitting on top of the cage, you should really keep your front door closed if you are going tolet her roam around the office. So I looked, and sure enough, here she was queen of the office, sitting on top of her cage....so I just let her roam around, keeping the outside doors closed, then I had to leave the office and thought, who will she harm, so I left, and didnt come back for hours later, and when I came back, I didnt know what I would find, but she was sitting inside her cage as pleased as can be. This mornig I came in, and she was just flying around the office. She has learned how to open her cage....is she smart or what?
But, unfortunately I am going to have to get her another cage, a bigger one, and try to keep her in it, cause the season is starting and I will have customers coming in all day long, and I think she might get scared of the people, and with the doors opening like that, I dont want her to try to fly out....
